Another Major Innovation from Britplas!!

This is a new form of security fencing introduced by the inventors of the Safevent window. It utilises the tried and tested welded mesh fence used for many years by Mental Heath Trusts Nationwide, but adds a cloaking system.

The pictures are of an installation carried out for Pennine Care at Stepping Hill Hospital. Stepping Hill is a large hospital complex where members of the public in their thousands pass through every day. The patients in the mental heath unit complained about a lack of privacy whenever they went outside. They felt as if they were on show to passers by.

Stephen Doyle asked Britplas if we could come up with a system that would give the patients more privacy.

Not only does our security Cloaking system provide a much higher level of privacy, it also greatly reduces ligature risk, prevents the passing of contraband through the fence and makes it impossible to climb.
